Body, Brain, Mind & Soul

Today I want to share my thoughts about the human body, brain, mind and the soul.

Well first of all, I really think all of them are depended on each other. One can’t go without the other. Our Body is the appearance we share to the outer world, our brain is the computer, the core of maybe everything that identifies us as it is a physical organ, where the mind resides. – Our mind gives us the opportunity to remember, to feel, to think, to change, to imagine and the place where our ego is might be.

Well, and there might be our soul? – Everyone will know their own truth and definition of the soul, because mostly it will depend on the traditions, religions, education and more. But we should accept the fact, that nobody really knows what the soul is. Let me give you an impulse: Soul is defined as one person, or is the spirit and essence of a person. An example of your soul is the part of you that makes you who you are and that will live on after your death. An example of soul is the part of you that will go to heaven and be immortal, according to the teachings of certain religions.

A little question, do you think there is something like a soul or is it “just” what our brain generates throughout the interactions with the outer world?

Now I want to tell you why I came up with this topic, not only is it very interesting, but it’s very important to feed all these listed things with good intentions and stuff. As I told you before, everything is related to each other and one can’t go with the other. It’s very important to be aware of this because:

Let’s say you are feeling really sad or depressed, most likely you will get body symptoms like: headache, nausea, fatigue and more, so it isn’t only a mental thing, it’s a physical thing too.

If you’re feeling good, having a great time, doing the things you enjoy, most likely you will feel lots of energy throughout your body, as dopamine and serotonin might be released- these are chemicals messengers or neurotransmitters that are released in your brain which plays a very vital role in our well-being, body movement, sleep/wake cycle and more.

Well, what I want to say about this is: First take your vitamins and minerals! I really think this could help to improve your mood because you’ll supply your body and your brain with the things it needs to function in its healthy, natural and optimal way.

Second of all your mindset, the voice in your head: “The body does not know the difference between an experience and a thought; you can literally change your biology, neurocircuitry, chemistry, hormones and genes, simply by having an inner event.” – So it’s actually really important to talk to yourself positively, if possible.

I’m aware that mental illness or sad emotions could prevent you from this, and that it also sounds simpler as it actually is. – If that’s the case try to find a professional help and start with the things you can change now, and be aware that it is a process to find your inner peace, yourself and letting go of things that haunted you negatively. Take your time, work on yourself, enjoy yourself, be patient and most of all breath.

Cheers
